Our qualified teachers and dedicated classroom assistants in every class create a warm, supportive environment where small class sizes ensure that each child’s first steps in education are successful and, above all, enjoyable. At St Lawrence College Pre-Prep, we warmly welcome entries for all year groups at any point during the academic year. Our dedicated member of the Admissions Team, Hannah Balcombe, is here to support families every step of the way.
Junior School Admissions Officer
If you’re considering a place for your child, the first step is to visit us. We’d be delighted to give you a tour of our wonderful school, and every family will have the opportunity to meet with Mrs Rowe, our Headteacher, during their visit.
If you feel that St Lawrence Pre-Prep is the perfect fit for your child, you can formally apply via our online Admissions Portal and paying the £100 registration fee (non-refundable).
Once we receive your application, we will request a report from your child’s current school, if applicable. After reviewing the report, we will invite your child for a taster day. Following this, we will formally offer a place, and the entry process is completed with the return of the Acceptance Form and the deposit.
Three-year-olds may join us the term after their third birthday, and children are welcome to enter at any time throughout the academic year.

We warmly invite you to visit us in person! During your visit, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of our wonderful school, meet our dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils, and have the chance to sit down with Mrs Rowe, our Headteacher.
We offer individual school tours during term time and during holiday periods, as well as taster visits for prospective pupils. We are also delighted to offer remote visits for families who are unable to visit us in person.

We offer a delightful taster session, where your child can spend a day with us to experience life at St Lawrence Pre-Prep. It’s a wonderful way for everyone to get to know each other better. Throughout the day, we’ll keep you updated on how your child is settling in, and we’ll share photos of their activities and experiences.
