Our pupils have been celebrating some excellent GCSE and IGCSE results today.
The determination and hard work of all of our pupils and teachers have yielded some excellent achievements and a number of our pupils have achieved outstanding results during their GCSE courses. Among the many highlights, in which 70% or more pupils achieved grades 9-6 in Art, Chemistry, Chinese, Drama and German, special mention goes to Charlotte and Seejan, who achieved ten grade 9s, and Rupert who achieved five grade 9s and four grade 8s.
Head of College, Mr Barney Durrant, commented “At St Lawrence College, we continue to support our pupils to achieve their potential, not only with academic excellence but also to develop the skills, resilience and adaptability in preparation for their future lives. We congratulate all of our pupils for their hard work in preparing for their GCSEs and wish them well as they continue with their Sixth Form studies.”
