We are pleased to announce that Matthew Brown has been appointed as the incoming Head of College at St Lawrence College, starting in the Summer Term 2025.
This follows the recent communication from our Governors to parents and staff, and we would like to take this moment to thank Barney Durrant, our current Head of College, for his exceptional leadership and dedication.
Mr Durrant will depart at the end of the Lent Term to take up the Headship of Brighton College, Abu Dhabi, leaving behind a strong legacy for the College’s future.

They’ve completed winter maintenance on over 400 trees, kept our pitches in pristine condition with regular mowing and aeration, planted an additional 50 trees in the Junior Forest School, and refreshed the greenery outside the Sports Centre with a stunning Spring planting.

Max and Ed are on an incredible 6-week cricket exchange in Johannesburg, South Africa! 🏏
Their adventure began with a warm welcome and joining the 1st XI cricket squad for pre-season training. They’ve been exploring their new surroundings, visiting the local mall, and settling into their home away from home.
After just one day of lessons, they played their first T20 matches on a South African wicket. The results didn’t go their way, but it was an exciting start to the season!
They’re already making unforgettable memories – stay tuned for more updates! 🌟
