On the 11th October, St Lawrence College came alive with the bustling excitement of prospective families during our Nursery and Reception Open Morning. This event offered a first-hand glimpse into the enriching and nurturing environment we proudly offer.
Families were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by our Year 6 students, who led guided tours across the grounds. These young ambassadors showcased the newly refurbished Hamblen Block which houses our Nursery and Pre-Prep facilities, providing insight into the learning environment that awaits new children.
Ellen Rowe, our Junior School Headteacher, along with Hannah Balcombe, the dedicated Junior School Admissions Officer, warmly welcomed families, setting the tone for a day filled with exploration and discovery. Parents and children had the opportunity to engage with our interactive classrooms and meet our passionate teachers which encouraged families to see what makes St Lawrence College special.
The tour concluded in the tranquil setting of our Forest School. It was in this serene environment that families explored the forest school’s equipment, discovering how they enhance the unique experience at that we provide.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who joined us for this memorable day. Sharing the unique qualities and offerings of our Junior School was a true delight, and we hope it inspired confidence in choosing St Lawrence College for your child’s educational journey.
