This afternoon, the Junior School children impressed their families and friends with a delightful teatime concert held in the Junior School’s Roberts Hall.
The concert opened with the Junior School orchestra performing “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” by Ennio Morricone and “Unsquare Dance” by Dave Brubeck. Following the orchestral performances, the audience enjoyed a trumpet duet and a variety of solo performances on the piano, cello, guitar, voice, flute, and harp. The teatime concert concluded with the Junior School Choir singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me,” providing a strong finish to the concert.
Junior School Headteacher Mrs Ellen Rowe commented, “I am incredibly proud of our children for their outstanding performances this afternoon. They showcased their musical talents beautifully. Each performance reflected their hard work and the exceptional guidance of Mrs Caddick and our music teachers. Well done everyone!
