Junior School Santa Run Raises £850 for Pilgrims Hospice
St Lawrence College Junior School is excited to announce the success of its Santa Run, which took place on Thursday, 14 December. The festive run, initiated by Father Christmas, saw enthusiastic participation from all the children from 3-11 at St Lawrence College Junior School, with the aim of raising funds for Pilgrims Hospice, in Thanet.
The event, organised to support Pilgrims Hospices in their mission to provide free-of-charge services to those facing terminal illnesses, received overwhelming support from the whole school community. The funds raised will contribute to sustaining the invaluable work of Pilgrims Hospice.
Mrs Ellen Rowe, Junior School Headteacher, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are truly humbled by the tremendous support from our community and the success of the Santa Run. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff who worked tirelessly to organise this event, and to everyone who participated and supported us. The funds raised will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need, and we are proud to have played a part in supporting Pilgrims Hospice.”
